Tahirih Vejdani is a sought after conductor in the choral community of Toronto.
For over 10 years she has worked primarily with children and youth choirs through the Community Music Schools of Toronto.
Since 2011 she has worked with choirs in their various neighbourhoods including Parkdale, Regent Park, and most recently Jane and Finch.
In collaboration with the Regent Park School of Music and Culture Link, Tahirih worked with the Nai Syrian Children’s Choir in 2016-2017.
Tahirih has also worked with various adults choirs in Toronto.
Tahirih stepped in as Assistant Artistic Director and Conductor with Echo Women’s Choir for the 2019/2020 season.
She has worked as a conductor for both Univox and Florivox of Vox Choirs in 2015-2016 and is often asked to sub as a conductor for the JCC Women’s Choir, First Unitarian Congregation Choir, and City Choir.
Tahirih was the conductor of the Toronto World Unity Choir from 2013-2015.
